Cool and Creamy Coleslaw
This cool side dish pairs well with just about anything off the grill, we especiallly love it with ribs and brisket. We love to make it when the weather heats up and we want to keep the house (and ourselves cool.)
1 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon onion powder
2 teaspoons celery salt
dash of cayenne pepper, optional
2 bags of coleslaw mix, or about 1 large head of cabbage and 3 carrots, shredded
In a small bowl combine mayonnaise, mustard, heavy whipping cream, apple cider vinegar, sugar, onion powder, celery salt, and cayenne pepper if desired. Mix well.
In a large bowl put your cabbage mix, then pour dressing over the top and combine well.
Chill for at least one hour. Serve and Enjoy!
