Our first bouquet donation location was Safe Avenues, a domestic violence shelter in Willmar, Minnesota. Safe Avenues does more then provide emergency shelter (which in itself is a huge task.) They also provide advocacy, education, and parenting time services. According to Minnesota Coalition for Battered Women "Domestic Violence is the leading cause of housing instability. Housing is the #1 unmet need for domestic violence survivors." I love that this organization exists, and can meet these needs in outstate Minnesota.
